Deepening Ukrainian-Austrian Dialogue

According to Andrii Sybiha, this visit continues the active cooperation between Ukraine and Austria that began after President Volodymyr Zelensky’s visit to Vienna in June. He emphasized his Austrian colleague’s personal commitment to developing relations between the countries.

“I greatly appreciate Beate’s personal dedication, which complements the intense dynamics of Ukrainian-Austrian relations. We continue the work initiated during President Zelensky’s visit to Vienna in mid-June,” he wrote on social media platform X.

The meeting began with honoring the memory of Ukrainian soldiers who lost their lives defending the country. However, details of Beate Meinl-Reisinger’s itinerary have not yet been disclosed.

Austria’s Position on Supporting Ukraine

Recently, following discussions between President Volodymyr Zelensky and his American counterpart Donald Trump, as well as other European leaders, the Austrian Foreign Ministry confirmed that Vienna continues to support Ukraine, its right to territorial integrity, and self-determination. Furthermore, Austria will assist U.S. efforts aimed at achieving peace and will participate in trilateral negotiations involving the U.S., Ukraine, and Russia.
