Temporary Traffic Restrictions on Naberezhne Shose in Kyiv

Drivers in the capital should be aware that today, for several hours, traffic will be complicated on Naberezhne Shose — on the section from the Metro Bridge to Poshtova Square. The reason is the ongoing repair work for cleaning and restoring the drainage collector.
When and Where to Expect Traffic Jams
According to municipal services, partial traffic restrictions will last from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Infrastructure restoration will be carried out by crews from the Pechersk District Utility Company, who will be working on the repair of the stormwater manhole near the pedestrian bridge. This work is necessary to ensure the proper functioning of the city’s drainage system.
“On August 20, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, traffic on Naberezhne Shose will be partially restricted in the direction from the Metro Bridge to Poshtova Square,” the message states.

In connection with the repair work, drivers are advised to plan their routes considering detours around this section or to use alternative routes to avoid traffic jams and delays on the road.
The completion of the work and full restoration of traffic is expected after 4:00 PM on the same day.
