New Home for Capuchins: Features of the New Residence
Kyiv Zoo held a festive housewarming: for the capuchins Persimmon and his companions Nyube, Silk, Chuchka, and Zhuchka, a modern “residential complex” has been arranged. The new enclosure, covering nearly 40 square meters and standing four meters tall, was created by the zoo staff. It consists of two spacious areas connected by a special tunnel passage. This design allows the clever residents to easily move between parts of their home and actively spend their time.
Comfort and Entertainment for the Primates
The new enclosure for the capuchins features wooden structures and branches that are perfect for jumping and climbing. There is also a comfortable platform where the animals can have “picnics” with their favorite treats. A cozy shelter is provided for resting and protection from the sun or rain. Thus, the new home has become not only comfortable but also diverse for the capuchins’ fun adventures.
