Demonstrative Enrichment in the Fruit Garden
On Sunday, November 9, a special event awaits guests at the Kyiv Zoo — everyone will have the chance to see a demonstrative walk and active behavior of rare members of the cat family. The event will take place in the zoo’s fruit garden, home to lynxes, servals, savannah cats, and forest cats. Most of these fluffy animals were rescued during the war and have found refuge at the Kyiv Zoo.
“This weekend, the cats in the fruit garden will be participating in demonstrative enrichment. Visitors will be able to enjoy watching the active behavior of these beautiful animals.”
Who Will Zoo Guests Meet
Keepers are convinced that among the autumn crimson-yellow fruit garden, the most enchanting sight remains the fluffy cats that now reside here. These are not only rare species but also animals with difficult fates, rescued during hostilities and evacuated to Kyiv. All of them have already adapted and delight visitors with their playful behavior.
The official start of the event is on November 9 at 12:00 in the zoo’s fruit garden. Visitors are invited to join in observing the favorites and receive a boost of positive emotions.
