A modern spacious open-air aviary has been opened at the Kyiv Zoo, where visitors can observe rare birds in the most natural conditions.

A New “Oasis” for Birds

In the new open aviary located in the Lower Park of the Kyiv Zoo, residents include herons, sacred ibises, black storks, and crowned cranes. Comfortable conditions have been created for the inhabitants: an area of over 260 square meters is planted with grass, shrubs, and trees, several types of soil have been arranged, two pools with fountains have been installed, as well as convenient feeders and waterers.

Conditions Closely Resemble Nature

Thanks to the careful selection of the environment, the birds can move freely, take sun and water baths, and socialize in groups. The staff of the facility notes that visitors have the opportunity to observe unique species of birds in a natural setting and learn more about their habits.
