The Shevchenkivskyi District Court of Kyiv has decided to keep Artem Kosov, a former employee of the State Guard Department, in custody, who is accused of murdering a teenager at the capital’s funicular station.
The court rejected the defense’s motion
Artem Kosov’s lawyers appealed to the court to change the preventive measure for their client. They insisted on replacing detention in a pre-trial facility with round-the-clock house arrest. However, the judge did not grant the lawyers’ request.
The court kept the accused in custody until October 11 without the right to bail.
The next hearing is scheduled for August
