During a daytime airstrike on Kyiv, debris from a downed Russian drone fell on the grounds of a kindergarten in the Dnipro district; fortunately, there were no casualties.

Details of the Incident in the Dnipro District

The Kyiv City Military Administration officially confirmed the fall of fragments from a Russian-made unmanned aerial vehicle on the territory of the preschool institution. According to representatives of the administration, at the time of the incident, the kindergarten was closed for repairs, so there were no injuries among the staff and children.

“In the Dnipro district, fragments of a downed UAV were found on the grounds of a kindergarten. Fortunately, the facility was closed for repairs, and no one was harmed. An operational group is working at the scene,” the statement said.

Alert in Kyiv and Emergency Services Response

The first reports of debris falling in the Dnipro district came in around 12:19 PM. In the morning, an air alert was declared in the city due to a potential attack by enemy drones, which lasted nearly four hours. Relevant services and specialists were promptly working at the scene, conducting inspections of the area and addressing possible consequences of the incident.
