Combat actions on the front are intensifying

On August 1, 172 combat clashes were recorded on the front between the Ukrainian Defense Forces and Russian troops. The intensity of actions has significantly increased compared to previous days.
Situation on key frontlines
In the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, the enemy launched eight attacks, carried out fourteen airstrikes, and dropped 24 guided bombs. The occupiers also conducted 445 shellings, including seven from multiple launch rocket systems.
The Southern Slobozhansky direction experienced four attacks in the areas of Krasne Pershe and Kam’yanka. In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy attempted to storm ten times near Holubivka, Zahryzove, Lozova, and Kindrashivka.
In the Lyman direction, Russian troops attacked our defenders’ positions 20 times near the settlements of Karpivka, Yamplivka, Kolodyazi, Zelena Dolyna, Torske, and Dibrivka. The Siversky direction faced six assault attempts in the areas of Hryhorivka, Verkhnokamyanske, and towards Vyimka.
In the Kramatorsk direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled two assaults by the Russians towards Bila Hora. The Toretsk direction was marked by six enemy attacks near Diliivka, Krymske, Toretsk, and Oleksandro-Kalynove.
Significant enemy losses
In the Pokrovsk direction, the Defense Forces managed to stop as many as 66 enemy attacks in the areas of Popovyi Yar, Maiak, Razine, Novoekonomichne, Zatyshok, Lysivka, Promin, Zvirivka, Udachny, Dachne, and Zelenyi Kut. In the Novopavlivsk direction, 23 offensive actions by the aggressor were repelled in the areas of Oleksandrohrad, Piddubne, Tovste, Maliivka, Voskresenka, and Novopillia.
The Orikhiv direction saw one attack near Kam’yanske, which ended unsuccessfully for the occupiers. In the Dnipro direction, seven attempts at assault actions were recorded, while no combat clashes occurred in the Huliaipole direction.
“The total losses of Russian occupiers over the past day amounted to 1010 personnel, one armored combat vehicle, 38 artillery systems, one multiple launch rocket system, 139 UAVs, and 130 units of automotive equipment”.
