Шалені заробітки в комендантську годину: затримано велике наркоугруповання

Law enforcement has dismantled a drug courier network

This is reported by Kyiv24

In Kyiv and Odesa, ten members of an organized crime group have been uncovered and arrested for orchestrating a large-scale cocaine distribution operation with round-the-clock courier delivery, including during the curfew period. The monthly revenue of this criminal organization reached up to half a million US dollars.

Delivery Scheme and Concealment Methods

According to the investigation, among those arrested are two organizers of the drug business. They created an extensive network of couriers who ensured prompt delivery of drugs under any conditions. To move freely at night, they used fake passes, volunteer identification, and documents from government institutions. Clients were found through the messaging app Telegram, and payments were accepted both in cash and via cryptocurrency wallets. Interestingly, all couriers were subjected to polygraph tests before being hired.

“The price for a gram of cocaine during the day was 200 US dollars, while during the curfew it was 250. The daily sales volume was approximately 50 grams of the drug.”

Results of the Searches and Further Actions

During the special operation, law enforcement documented 15 instances of cocaine distribution. During searches, packages containing narcotic substances (which have already been sent for examination), grenade fuses, ammunition of various calibers, and records of the so-called “black” accounting were seized from the detainees.

All those arrested have been charged with drug trafficking as part of an organized crime group. The court has ordered their detention without the right to bail. Additionally, another individual involved in the case has been charged with illegal possession of weapons and ammunition.
