Charges of Domestic Violence and Assault

Rodrigues was found guilty of assaulting his former girlfriend – “Miss Luxembourg” Emily Boland, in an incident that occurred back in November 2022. Additionally, he is accused of several assaults near nightclubs: he broke one man’s facial bones and knocked out another man’s teeth. The footballer has also been involved in conflicts with the police, making offensive remarks and threatening law enforcement officers.

Gerson Rodrigues’ Career and Scandals

Gerson Rodrigues joined Kyiv’s Dynamo in 2019 for two million euros. During his time with the “white-blues,” he struggled to establish himself in the first team and was loaned out to clubs in Turkey, Slovakia, France, China, and Saudi Arabia. He currently plays for the Portuguese club ABC, and his contract with Dynamo is valid until June 30, 2025.

According to Wikipedia, Gerson made his debut for Dynamo in a Champions League qualifying match against Belgian club Brugge (0:1). He scored his first goal for the Kyiv club in a classic derby against Donetsk’s Shakhtar in the Ukrainian championship. However, his career at Dynamo has been marred by numerous scandals. Notably, during one training session in Kyiv, he had a fight with player Vitaliy Buyalsky, and during a Ukrainian Cup match against Shakhtar, he clashed with head coach Oleksiy Mykhailichenko. Furthermore, due to failing to adhere to training schedules and missing practices, he was put up for transfer that same year.
