A record number of combat engagements were recorded on the front over the past day

Ukrainian military reported over 230 combat engagements with Russian occupation forces in the last 24 hours. The most tense situation has developed in the Pokrovsk, Novopavlivka, and South Slobozhansky directions, where enemy activity has significantly increased.
Enemy Losses and Scale of Attacks
Ukrainian defenders inflicted significant losses on the enemy: nearly 1,090 occupiers were eliminated, five tanks destroyed, 14 armored fighting vehicles, 18 artillery systems and multiple launch rocket systems, one air defense system, as well as 363 operational-tactical drones, 38 cruise missiles, and 63 units of automotive and special equipment and fuel tankers.
“The enemy launched a massive missile and airstrike on the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas with 53 missiles and 56 airstrikes, dropping 130 guided aerial bombs. In addition, they deployed 5,490 kamikaze drones and conducted 4,063 shellings of our troops’ positions and populated areas, including 121 from multiple launch rocket systems,” the General Staff reported.
Situation Overview by Directions
- North Slobozhansky and Kursk Directions: Ukrainian forces repelled 12 attacks from Russian units.
- South Slobozhansky Direction: 31 combat engagements were recorded.
- Kupiansk Direction: the enemy made eight attacks on the defenders’ positions.
- Lyman Direction: the occupiers attempted to advance 12 times over the day.
- Seversky Direction: 13 combat engagements occurred.
- Kramatorsk Direction: the defense forces repelled four enemy attacks.
- Toretsk Direction: 17 attacks from the enemy were recorded.
- Pokrovsk Direction: Ukrainian defenders stopped 57 attacks from the aggressor near 17 populated areas.
- Novopavlivka Direction: the defense forces repelled 42 assaults.
- Huliaipole Direction: four combat engagements were recorded.
- Orikhiv Direction: the enemy attempted six times to push Ukrainian defenders from their positions.
- Dniprovsk Direction: two enemy attacks were repelled near the Antonivskyi Bridge.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to inflict significant losses on the enemy, holding defensive positions and preventing the advancement of Russian troops deep into Ukrainian territory.
