On Thursday, August 28, the “Ukraine in Miniature” exhibition will open in the Refectory Hall of the National Preserve “Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra”. The event is dedicated to the 34th anniversary of Ukraine’s Independence and will bring together enthusiasts of history, culture, and modern technologies.

The exhibition features unique 3D models of monuments

The exhibition presents visitors with 3D models of outstanding architectural objects from various regions of Ukraine. Among them are St. Sophia’s Cathedral in Kyiv, St. George’s Cathedral in Lviv, the Ivan Franko Drama Theater, the “Ukraine” Hotel in Luhansk, and many others. All models have been created by the Skeiron studio team with precise adherence to the original architectural details.

“The exhibition showcases 3D models of remarkable architectural monuments – from St. Sophia’s Cathedral in Kyiv and St. George’s Cathedral in Lviv to the Ivan Franko Drama Theater and the “Ukraine” Hotel in Luhansk, recreated by the Skeiron studio team,” the preserve reported.

Monuments destroyed by war will also be represented

It is worth noting that some of the objects presented at the exhibition no longer exist due to Russian aggression. These include the Donetsk Drama Theater in Mariupol and the Hryhorii Skovoroda Museum in Kharkiv Oblast, which were destroyed as a result of hostilities. This is why the exhibition takes on special significance, preserving the memory of national heritage.

Previously, the “Ukraine in Miniature” project was showcased in several European countries, including Finland, Latvia, France, Hungary, and Germany. Ukrainians and visitors to the capital will be able to attend the exhibition in Kyiv until September 29.
