Numerous signs of torture were found on the body, and some organs were missing. Victoria’s identity was confirmed through DNA testing.

On August 1, 2025, President Volodymyr Zelensky awarded Victoria Roschina the Order of Freedom (posthumously) for her civic courage and selfless stance in defending Ukraine’s sovereignty.
