Firefighters Quickly Extinguished the Blaze in the Capital

In the morning, a fire broke out in the Dniprovskiy district of Kyiv, caused by the ignition of garbage, resulting in the destruction of a store. The incident was reported by the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Kyiv.
“On July 8, the Rescue Service received a report of a fire on Ivan Mykolaychuk Street in the Dniprovskiy district,” the statement said.
Details of the Fire and the Work of Rescuers
According to the fire and rescue service, the crew that arrived at the scene found that garbage was burning in an open area. The fire quickly spread to the roof of the nearby store. The total area of the fire was 20 square meters.
Consequences and Investigation of the Cause of the Fire
Ten rescuers and two units of main firefighting equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire. Thanks to the prompt actions of the firefighters, the flames were quickly localized and completely extinguished.
There were no casualties or injuries as a result of the fire. The causes of the ignition are currently being investigated by law enforcement agencies.
