A fire broke out in a single-story warehouse building on Kyrylivska Street in the Podilskyi district of Kyiv. The incident occurred in the morning of October 19, when a signal about the fire was received at 08:40.
Rescuers Quickly Evacuated Dangerous Cylinders
Upon arrival at the scene, the State Emergency Service employees determined that there were oxygen cylinders in the premises, which posed a particular threat due to the risk of explosion. During the firefighting efforts, three oxygen cylinders were removed from the building, preventing potential consequences.

The Fire Was Extinguished in Less Than an Hour
The flames covered an area of about 300 square meters. Thanks to the coordinated actions of the rescuers, the fire was completely extinguished by 09:14. According to the emergency services, no one was injured as a result of the incident.
