In the night leading to today, a fire broke out in an apartment on the first floor of a two-story building located on Yahidna Street in the Holosiivskyi district of the capital. The report of the fire was received by the rescue service at 4:12 AM.

Evacuation of Residents and Fire Suppression

Upon arrival, rescuers found that the apartment was completely engulfed in flames. Thanks to the coordinated actions of the firefighters, the fire was localized by 4:57 AM, covering an area of about 30 square meters. During the reconnaissance and extinguishing efforts, five residents of the building were evacuated. One of the victims, who exhibited an acute stress reaction, was handed over to medical personnel for further assistance.

“At the scene, firefighters determined that the apartment was engulfed in flames. With prompt measures taken, the fire was brought under control by 4:57 AM over an area of 30 square meters. During the extinguishing and reconnaissance, five people were evacuated. One victim with an acute stress reaction was handed over to medical staff.”

The causes of the fire are currently being investigated by law enforcement authorities.
