In the Sviyatoshyn district of the capital, a fire erupted in the intensive care unit of Kyiv City Clinical Hospital No. 5 on the morning of December 7. The information about the blaze was reported to the rescue service at 07:41.

Actions of the Rescuers and Evacuation

Firefighters promptly arrived at the scene and localized the fire, which covered an area of about 15 square meters. During the firefighting efforts, six people were evacuated from the danger zone, including two who were mobility-impaired.

“The fire occurred in the hospital’s intensive care unit. The fire was extinguished at 08:20 over an area of 15 sq. m. During the firefighting, 6 people were evacuated, including 2 mobility-impaired individuals,” the State Emergency Service reported.

The Causes of the Fire are Being Investigated by Law Enforcement
