Residents of Kyiv have started a petition

A public initiative is gaining momentum in Kyiv to rename one of the city’s streets in honor of Andriy Parubiy, who served as the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and as a Member of Parliament.
Petition for Renaming
An electronic petition with this proposal is already available on the official portal of the Kyiv City Council. Residents of the capital are calling for support for this initiative and to join the signature collection process.
Arguments from the Initiative’s Authors
The authors of the petition emphasize that Andriy Parubiy has made significant contributions to the development of Ukraine over many years, actively working on the establishment of democratic institutions and the modernization of the Ukrainian army based on European standards. The politician was also one of the leading participants in the Orange Revolution and the Revolution of Dignity.
