A large fire broke out in the center of Kyiv, during which rescuers saved three residents of an apartment building.

Details of the Incident on Rohnydynska
On the evening of July 8, a significant fire occurred in a four-story residential building on Rohnydynska Street in the Pechersk district of the capital. According to the emergency rescue service, the fire started on the third floor of the building.
“On July 8 at 18:09, a report of a fire on Rohnydynska Street in the Pechersk district of the capital was received by the operational coordination center of the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Kyiv,” the statement said.

Rescue Operation and Fire Extinguishing
During the firefighting efforts, rescuers used an aerial ladder to evacuate three people from the upper floors. All those rescued were handed over to medical personnel for necessary assistance. One person sought medical attention for symptoms of smoke inhalation but refused hospitalization after examination.
The fire was localized at 20:06 over an area of 100 square meters, and it was completely extinguished by 20:46. Nine units of main and special firefighting equipment, as well as 38 rescuers, were involved in the extinguishing efforts.
