Regular Services and Prayer for Ukraine

Metropolitan Epiphanius announced the start of regular worship services in this historic location. From now on, Ukrainian prayers will regularly resonate in the Far and Lower Lavra. According to the Primate, these prayers will be dedicated to the venerable fathers of Kyiv-Pechersk and offered for victory and a just peace for Ukraine.

“We are initiating regular services. There is always a first step. And we believe that we are starting here and in the Lower Lavra the Ukrainian prayer near our venerable fathers of Kyiv-Pechersk,” said Epiphanius.

Prayer for Victory and Justice

Epiphanius emphasized that representatives of the OCU will constantly pray to the venerable fathers, asking for their intercession before the Almighty God. Believers will join in prayers for Ukraine’s victory, the triumph of truth, and the establishment of just peace on their native land.
