Active in the entertainment industry and a music reviewer, co-founder of the MUZVAR portal Lesha Dontsov shared in his interview how the war has affected young artists and their creativity. According to him, due to the military conflict, the Ukrainian youth music scene has already adapted to more modest performance formats; however, competitions and events remain important for young people to learn how to engage an audience, practice communication, and feel the atmosphere of the venue.

“But creativity — it flows, it cannot stop”
Reflecting on the future of Ukrainian pop music, Dontsov notes that after the war, there will be a transformation, possibly even a significant shift in the development of the music industry:
“There may be a certain break,” he says. “But creativity — it flows, it cannot stop.”
Personal Ambitions and the Desire to Help
Speaking about his plans and goals, Lesha Dontsov admits that he has not yet reached the level he could speak of with pride, but he strives to contribute to the development of the Ukrainian music environment. He emphasizes that the most important thing for him is to help others in the creative field with his advice and thoughts:
“I would like to, — Dontsov confessed, — make a contribution related to helping people in the creative field with my advice and thoughts. Because everyone who knows me understands that, first and foremost, Dontsov is someone who will sincerely advise, suggest, and help.”
