This month, the Pension Fund of Ukraine (PFU) will conduct an automatic recalculation of housing subsidies for households whose average monthly total income has changed by more than 50 percent.

Subsidy Recalculation Procedure
According to information from the PFU, such payments are recalculated twice a year: in March and August. Starting from March 2025, the average monthly total income for the III and IV quarters of 2024 will be taken into account for the calculations. This income will be compared with the incomes from the I and II quarters of 2024, which were considered when determining the amount of housing subsidy for the heating season.

Automatic Process for Citizens’ Convenience
If it is found during the comparison that the incomes of households have changed by more than 50 percent, the amount of the housing subsidy will be accordingly decreased or increased. It is important to note that this process will be carried out automatically, so citizens do not need to contact the PFU authorities for its implementation.
