The Kremlin is refraining from any comments regarding the peace agreement, the 20 points of which were recently announced by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. As stated on December 24 by the spokesperson for the Russian president, Dmitry Peskov, the Russian side sees no point in responding again to questions about this plan.

“I have already answered this question, so I see no reason to repeat myself,” said the Kremlin representative in response to a request to comment on the plan.
Details of the Peace Agreement Project
The draft agreement, which was discussed by representatives from the US, Ukraine, European countries, and Russia, includes a number of significant points. In particular, the document stipulates the mandatory withdrawal of Russian troops from the Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions for the agreement to take effect. At the same time, the parties have not reached an agreement regarding Donetsk.
Additionally, one of the points is the requirement to hold elections in Ukraine as soon as possible after the agreements are signed. The issue of compromise regarding the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant remains open.
Negotiations in Miami and the Positions of the Parties
Recently, the US has intensified efforts to achieve a peace agreement between Kyiv and Moscow. After a round of negotiations in Miami, Volodymyr Zelensky announced that several draft documents had been prepared, including those concerning security guarantees for Ukraine, the country’s reconstruction, and basic principles for ending the war.
Meetings between the American team and representatives of Russia also took place in Miami. However, the Kremlin emphasized that these consultations should not be considered a breakthrough in resolving the conflict. According to Putin’s spokesperson, all the main demands of the Russian side are well known to their partners in the US.
