The Kyiv City State Administration’s transport enterprise has announced its intention to purchase a new passenger vehicle for 3,973,600 hryvnias.

What Vehicle is Planned for Purchase
According to the technical documentation, it concerns a minivan with a 1900 cubic centimeter turbocharged diesel engine, equipped with an automatic transmission. The requirements for the vehicle specifically emphasize the need for complete passenger comfort.
The auction is scheduled for August 11.
Context: Fleet Expenses and Losses
The duties of the director of the Kyiv City State Administration’s transport enterprise are currently performed by Dmytro Rakhmatullin.
“The Kyiv City State Administration’s transport enterprise incurred financial losses of 1,589,000 hryvnias for the 2024 fiscal year. Nevertheless, huge budget funds are poured into it every year, as this is where the comfort of the capital’s officials begins. The garage has 80 service vehicles. There are service vehicles assigned to 25 directors of the Kyiv City State Administration: Toyota Highlander, Toyota Camry, Toyota Corolla.”
The enterprise’s fleet consists of 80 service vehicles, including several elite models. For 25 directors of the Kyiv City State Administration, vehicles such as Toyota Highlander, Toyota Camry, and Toyota Corolla are assigned. At the same time, all deputies of the head of the Kyiv City State Administration travel in premium-class vehicles, including Toyota Highlander and Toyota Camry.
Notably, over the past year, one of the Toyota Highlander vehicles assigned to a deputy head of the Kyiv City State Administration consumed 9,645.48 liters of fuel while traveling 51,857 kilometers during 2024. Providing a high level of comfort for the management of the city administration costs taxpayers significant amounts.
