The Kyiv football club “Dynamo” has reached an important milestone in its history by playing its thousandth match in the national Premier League of Ukraine.

As part of the 5th round of the Ukrainian Premier League, a Kyiv derby took place between “Dynamo” and “Obolon”. This match became the thousandth for “Dynamo” in the Ukrainian championships. The match ended in a 2:2 draw, with Oleksandr Shovkovskyi as the head coach of the Kyiv team.
“The match of the 5th round of the Ukrainian Premier League, the Kyiv derby against “Obolon”, became a jubilee — the thousandth for Kyiv’s “Dynamo” in the Ukrainian championships,” the statement reads.
