An open art plein air will take place in the capital in honor of the outstanding Ukrainian landscape painter Arkhip Kuinji, where everyone interested can feel like an artist and create their own work in the master’s style.

Mariupol University invites everyone to join the art plein air, which will be held on September 19 in the open square in front of the National Museum of the History of Ukraine (Volodymyrska Street, 2) in Kyiv. The event is dedicated to the presentation of the large-scale cultural and artistic project ‘Kuinji Memorial,’ one of the organizers of which is the university.

About the ‘Kuinji Memorial’ Project
The national project ‘Kuinji Memorial’ brings together cultural and artistic institutions from Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Lviv. Within the initiative, exhibitions, discussion panels, and workshops will be held, and to ensure the lasting impact of the events, a digital platform with materials will be created, along with a printed catalog of the works presented at the exhibitions.
