The conflict on the club’s terrace ended with hospitalization

The incident occurred on the terrace of the club, where the suspect began to harass an unfamiliar girl. Accompanying her was a 20-year-old Kyiv resident, who made a remark to the attacker in an attempt to stop his brazen behavior. This led to an aggressive reaction from the foreigner, who provoked a fight, pulled out a knife, and inflicted three stab wounds on the victim — to the chest and arm.

“Law enforcement officers preliminarily established that the perpetrator, a 21-year-old foreigner, while on the terrace of the club, began to harass an unfamiliar girl. The 20-year-old Kyiv resident, who was in her company, made a remark to him and tried to stop his brazen behavior. In response, the suspect provoked a fight, pulled out a knife, and inflicted three stab wounds to the victim’s chest and arm,” the statement said.

Legal consequences for the attacker

The victim was promptly hospitalized. Police detained the perpetrator and announced charges against him under Articles 296 Part 4 (hooliganism) and 121 Part 1 (intentional infliction of serious bodily harm) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. He faces up to eight years in prison for his actions.

Currently, the issue of choosing a preventive measure for the suspect in the form of detention is being resolved.
