Kyiv Hotel Complexes Owe Millions of Hryvnias for Land Rent

Власники фешенебельних готелів заборгували киянам мільйони гривень

The capital’s prosecutor’s office has filed a lawsuit to recover over 18 million hryvnias in arrears for the rental of land plots from the owners of the Premier Hotel Lybid and «Slavutych» hotels.

This is reported by Kyiv24

According to information from law enforcement, under the signed lease agreements for land plots totaling 1 hectare, these areas were allocated to the company for the construction and maintenance of tourist infrastructure. However, for a certain period, the rental payments did not reach the city budget.

Currently, the Economic Court of the capital has opened proceedings in this case at the request of the prosecutor’s office.

“According to the lease agreements, the hotel owners were obligated to pay rent, but the funds did not arrive.”
