According to the investigation, the suspects convinced a potential candidate that they had the necessary connections and could influence the decisions of the academy’s officials to ensure his appointment to the management position. They guaranteed assistance in bypassing the legal procedures for appointment to public service.
Arrest During Money Transfer
The perpetrators were arrested during the transfer of the specified amount of money to them. Law enforcement documented the attempted fraud and seized physical evidence. Currently, a pre-trial investigation is ongoing, and the accused face penalties under current legislation.
The suspects assured the “candidate” that they had the ability to influence the academy’s officials and facilitate his appointment to the position.
