Experts conducted a study showing that last year, the capital’s theaters, zoo, and museums became favorite leisure spots for the residents of Kyiv. This data was released by the Department of Culture of the Kyiv City State Administration.

Statistics on Visits to Cultural Institutions
In 2024, Kyiv’s municipal theaters were visited by about 585 thousand spectators, while the zoo recorded 630 thousand visitors. Additionally, 418 exhibitions were held in the city’s municipal museums, attracting over 400 thousand visitors.
Creative Activity of Theaters
Notably, even in wartime conditions, municipal theaters managed to present 100 new premieres and hold 4,631 performances throughout the year. This reflects the resilience of Kyiv’s cultural sector and its ability to adapt to challenging circumstances.
