Kyiv residents have initiated an electronic petition for the creation of a trolleybus route that will connect the metro stations ‘Svyatoshyno’ and ‘Lukyanivska’ via Mriyi Street (Akademika Tupoleva).

Problems with Overloaded Bus Routes
The existing buses No. 90 and No. 90k serving this direction are unable to cope with the high passenger flow, especially during peak hours. The petition author, a resident of the Shevchenkivskyi district, Dmytro Revtyukh, emphasizes that the problem worsens on weekends when route No. 90k does not operate, leaving residents without necessary transportation connections.
“The situation is complicated by the fact that route No. 90k does not operate on weekends, leaving residents without convenient transportation options,” he notes.
Advantages of the New Trolleybus Route
The introduction of a new trolleybus route will help reduce the burden on existing buses and provide stable public transport on weekends. This will improve the mobility of residents in several districts of the capital and make travel more comfortable and accessible.
In an appeal to the city authorities, the necessity of including the launch of the new trolleybus route No. 2 in the plans for the development of public transport in Kyiv is highlighted.
