A Large-Scale Exhibition of Contemporary Ukrainian Art Opens in Kyiv

In the capital of Ukraine, at the Central House of Artists, a large-scale exhibition has launched, showcasing around two hundred works by Ukrainian artists from various generations. The event opens on April 23 and will run until May 5.

Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the diversity of styles and genres in contemporary Ukrainian art, viewing works of painting, graphics, sculpture, and decorative applied arts. The exhibition reflects the richness and variety of Ukrainian culture today. Among the featured artists are Mykhailo Huyda, Mykola Kutnyakhov, Kostiantyn and Anastasia Koseretsky, Kostiantyn Cherniavskyi, Serhii Herasymenko, Halyna Kyrylenko-Barannikova, Halyna Duhovska, Volodymyr Baliberdin, Yurii and Myroslava Pshenychny, Andrii Budnyk, Mykola Zhuravel, Viktoriia Dromaretska, and Oleksii Chepelyk.

During the grand opening, the best artists of the capital will be honored, and there will be a festive concert performed by the “Sviatohrai” orchestra of Kyiv Art School No. 6. This is an important event for the Ukrainian cultural scene, highlighting the contemporary development and traditions of Ukrainian art.

“We take pride in our artists, whose creativity is a hallmark of modern Ukraine, and we sincerely invite everyone to visit this unique and fascinating exhibition,” emphasized Kostiantyn Cherniavskyi, head of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine.
