Russian forces launched a nighttime drone attack on Odesa, resulting in injuries to city residents and rescuers, as well as significant damage to residential infrastructure.

Extent of Damage and Rescue Operations
During the night, the enemy fired strike drones at Odesa, leading to over 10 recorded impact sites. The attack caused widespread fires in the city. A four-story residential building was particularly severely affected, engulfed in flames. Firefighters managed to rescue three people, while six others were evacuated from the burning building.
“Over 10 impact sites, widespread fires. A four-story residential building was completely engulfed in flames. Firefighters rescued 3 individuals, and 6 were evacuated from the burning building,” the report states.

During the firefighting efforts, part of the building’s structure collapsed onto the rescuers, resulting in injuries to three firefighters, who are currently hospitalized in stable condition.

Evacuation of Residents and Consequences of the Strike
A 23-story residential building also sustained damage: rescuers extinguished fires on the 18th to 20th floors and evacuated 600 people from it. Three residents, including two children, were rescued from one of the blocked apartments.

Additionally, fires broke out in five other residential buildings and three vehicles in the city. Debris removal is ongoing in the partially destroyed four-story building, as residents believe there may be another person trapped under the rubble.
According to preliminary reports, as of the morning, 14 individuals have been injured, including three rescuers.
