On Tuesday, November 11, a large fire broke out in a nine-story residential building on Pivnichna Street in the Obolon district of Kyiv. According to operational information, the alarm about the fire was received at 10:28.

Fire and rescue units promptly arrived at the scene. By 11:03, the fire was completely extinguished. The total area of the fire was approximately 20 square meters. Thanks to the coordinated actions of the rescuers, it was possible to avoid casualties and injuries among the residents of the building.
“At 11:03, the fire was extinguished over an area of 20 sq. m. There are no casualties or injuries. The cause of the fire will be determined by law enforcement agencies,” the report states.

Currently, law enforcement agencies are investigating the causes of the fire. Rescuers emphasize the importance of adhering to fire safety rules in residential buildings, especially during the autumn-winter period when the risk of such emergencies increases.
