Mykola Povoroznyk has announced the end of his tenure as the First Deputy Head of the Kyiv City State Administration. The decision to resign was made public on the evening of October 13 on his Facebook page.

Povoroznyk’s Comment on His Resignation

“Today is my last day as the First Deputy Head of the Kyiv City State Administration, a position I have dedicated nearly 8 years of my life to. The times have been varied, yet both the spirit and the team have been strengthened by the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic and the full-scale invasion. I won’t list the team’s achievements; time will reveal everything,” he wrote.

Procedure for Approving the Resignation

On October 7, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko submitted a request to the Cabinet of Ministers and President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky for approval of Mykola Povoroznyk’s resignation from the position of First Deputy Head of the Kyiv City State Administration. Povoroznyk held this position for nearly eight years, working during various periods, including the pandemic and the full-scale invasion by Russia.
