Local authorities are considering the possibility of using the abandoned building located at 15/27 Anna Akhmatova Street to develop the healthcare infrastructure of the district. The building has not been used for a long time, and previously it housed the largest fixed-line operator in Ukraine — JSC “Ukrtelecom.”

Plans for Opening the Medical Facility

The head of the Darnytsia District State Administration, Oleksandr Kovtunov, reported that an inspection of the premises has already been conducted, and the idea of creating a clinic at this location is being considered. The district authorities have determined the preliminary cost of the necessary work, which will allow them to move to the next stage — finding sources of funding for the implementation of the project.

“We are looking for opportunities to expand the network of medical facilities. We inspected the premises at 15/27 A. Akhmatova Street, which has not been used for a long time. Once, it housed the largest fixed-line operator in Ukraine — JSC ‘Ukrtelecom.’ There is an interesting idea — to establish a clinic at this location,” wrote Oleksandr Kovtunov.

Advantages of the New Location for the Clinic

According to Oleksandr Kovtunov, the area and location of the building are ideal for housing a medical facility. This will increase the accessibility of medical services for residents of the district and improve the quality of service for the population.

After assessing the scope of necessary work, the next important step will be to determine the sources of funding for the implementation of the new medical project in the Darnytsia district.
