Number of Emergencies in Kyiv Over the Week: Six People Died

From September 22 to 28, there were 156 emergencies in Kyiv, resulting in the deaths of six people.

Fires and Aftermath of Shelling

Last week, capital rescuers made 156 trips to respond to various emergency events. The majority of these – 82 cases – involved extinguishing fires in the city.

In addition, emergency services were dispatched 37 times to address the aftermath of enemy shelling and to survey hazardous areas. Rescuers also provided assistance to residents of the capital and other services on 28 occasions. There were three emergency calls recorded, while 33 requests turned out to be false alarms.

Casualties and Lives Saved

During the firefighting efforts, rescuers managed to save 17 individuals. However, according to the Emergency Service, the week also brought significant losses among the population.

“During the week, 6 people died in Kyiv. As a result of enemy shelling on September 28, 4 people were killed, including one child,” the report states.

City services continue to urge citizens to adhere to safety rules and respond promptly to warning signals, as the situation in the city remains tense due to the threat of shelling.
