Sports Tourism Competition Among Students at ‘Pririchna’ Park
Exciting sports tourism competitions among students took place in the Obolon district at ‘Pririchna’ park. Participants showcased their physical endurance, ingenuity, and agility, while the atmosphere was filled with passion and tension at every stage. The first stage for the younger group included medical tests covering questions on providing first aid for puncture wounds, open fractures, heat strokes, and sunstrokes. Older students demonstrated their skills in evacuating an ‘injured’ person.
In the third stage, participants competed in bicycle tourism: one participant completed a ‘cross’ distance while the other demonstrated bicycle maneuvering skills. This challenge required high proficiency and teamwork.
Impressive Stages and Terrain Orientation
The fourth stage was particularly intense and included two blocks: rock climbing with parallel ropes and a horizontal pendulum. Younger participants completed the distances in pairs, while older students showcased their skills as a full team.
The final testing stage—terrain orientation—was also included in the competition program. All participants handled it at a high level, demonstrating their knowledge and ability to quickly orient themselves in the terrain.
Overall, the teams displayed a high level of preparation, cohesion, and a desire to win, indicating the growing popularity and level of sports tourism among the youth in the district.
