The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on the situation at the front

In the past day, there were over 150 combat engagements along the line of contact, one of the highest figures in recent times. The hottest spots were in the Pokrovsk, Novopavlivka, North Slobozhansky, and Kursk directions, where the enemy most actively attempted to breach the Ukrainian defenses.
Losses of Russian Forces and Results of Counterattacks
The Armed Forces of Ukraine inflicted significant losses on the Russian occupiers. In one day, nearly 1,060 invaders were eliminated, along with one tank, three armored combat vehicles, 21 artillery systems, and a multiple launch rocket system. Additionally, Ukrainian forces neutralized 177 operational-tactical level drones and 79 units of automotive and special equipment, as well as fuel tankers.
“Russian forces launched one missile and 45 air strikes, using four missiles and dropping 81 guided aerial bombs. Furthermore, they deployed 1,157 kamikaze drones and conducted 3,927 shellings of our troops’ positions and populated areas,” the General Staff reported.
Situation on the Front Directions
In the North Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, Ukrainian defenders repelled 31 assaults from the enemy. The Kupiansk direction also remained tense, with four attacks by the occupiers being halted here. In the Lyman direction, Russian forces attempted to breach the defenses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine twice.
Attempts at an offensive were recorded in other sections of the front as well. In particular, in the Siversky direction, the enemy tried to advance near Hryhorivka, while in the Kramatorsk direction, they conducted ten assault actions against Ukrainian Armed Forces units. In the Toretsk area, Ukrainian defenders repelled 16 attacks from the enemy.
The highest number of breakthrough attempts was noted in the Pokrovsk direction, where the Russians tried to advance 42 times in the areas of 11 populated points. In the Novopavlivka direction, 22 attempts to breach Ukrainian positions were recorded.
The Hulyaipole direction was marked by two unsuccessful offensive actions from the enemy, while in the Orikhiv direction, the aggressor conducted one attack. In the Dnipro direction, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled an attack by the Russians near the Antonivsky Bridge.
