Major roadworks have begun in the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kyiv, which will significantly affect traffic on one of the city’s important thoroughfares.

Traffic Restrictions Will Last Until the End of August
From July 24 to August 31, due to road surface repairs on Hlibovytskyi Passage, drivers will need to be aware of partial traffic restrictions. Specialists from the communal enterprise SHEU of the Shevchenkivskyi district are working on the current road repairs. The work covers the section from Sichovykh Striltsiv Street to Hlibovytska Street.
Details of the Repair Work
According to the road service, the repairs are planned to be carried out in stages to minimize inconvenience for residents and visitors to the capital. Drivers are encouraged to plan their routes in advance and, where possible, choose alternative paths to avoid traffic jams in the area where the work is being conducted.
“From July 24 to August 31, traffic will be partially restricted on Hlibovytskyi Passage,” the message states.
The city authorities ask for understanding regarding the temporary restrictions, as the road surface upgrade will enhance safety and comfort for travel after the repairs are completed.
