History and Significance of the Restoration
According to museum representatives, the idea to preserve this inn emerged half a century ago, and it has now finally been realized. This is not just a wooden structure, but a true symbol of the past that allows one to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of a Ukrainian village from the late 19th century.
Traditional Ukrainian Inn in a Modern Interpretation
As the museum staff noted,
“An inn with accommodation is a rare format. In such establishments, travelers could not only refresh themselves or rest but also stay for several days. That’s why we tried to preserve everything down to the smallest details: the authentic arrangement of benches, tables, the stove, and traditional household items — so that everyone who steps inside can feel the spirit of a Ukrainian village from the late 19th century”
. During the restoration, special attention was paid to preserving the authentic interior and design, so that visitors could fully experience the atmosphere of ancient times.
