In the capital, cybersecurity specialists from the Security Service of Ukraine discovered that a former chief specialist of the Cabinet of Ministers’ secretariat and a deputy dean of one of Kyiv’s universities were involved in organizing the scheme. For a monetary reward, they were arranging for evaders to be employed as lecturers at universities, allowing these individuals to avoid mobilization.

Scale of Criminal Activity

Thanks to the joint actions of law enforcement agencies, the activities of several organized groups operating in different regions have been halted. Those involved in the schemes used their official connections and academic positions to implement their criminal intentions, offering “legal” ways to evade mobilization by securing employment at educational institutions.

Currently, an investigation is ongoing to hold all those involved accountable.
