Seven faculty members from the State University “Kyiv Aviation Institute” have been included in the prestigious ranking of the most cited scientists in the world.

Kyiv Scientists Among the Leaders of Global Science

Researchers from KAI have made it to the list of the top two percent of the most cited researchers on the planet according to Elsevier and Stanford University. This ranking, based on data from the international scientometric database Scopus, is considered one of the most authoritative indicators of scientific impact. Only those scientists whose work has received recognition and numerous citations from researchers worldwide are included in this ranking.

This recognition reflects not only personal achievements but also the strength of the KAI scientific school. Scientists work daily on flight safety, the development of artificial intelligence in aviation, telecommunications, and navigation systems, shaping the future of Ukrainian science, the university notes.

Achievements of KAI Representatives

The ranking of the most cited scientists in the world includes representatives from the Faculty of Aeronavigation, Electronics, and Telecommunications:

  • Victor Synegazov – Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Aviation Computer-Integrated Complexes;
  • Ivan Ostroymov – Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Aeronavigation Systems;
  • Alexander Solomentsev – Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Telecommunications and Radioelectronic Systems;
  • Olga Sushchenko – Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Aerospace Control Systems;
  • Natalia Kuzmenko – Doctor of Philosophy, Senior Researcher of the Department of Aeronavigation Systems;
  • Maxim Zalysky – Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Telecommunications and Radioelectronic Systems;
  • Julia Averyanova – Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Aeronavigation Systems.
