Situation on the Front: 160 Clashes Occurred in One Day, Ukrainian Armed Forces Eliminated Nearly 950 Occupants

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported a significant escalation of the situation on the front over the past day.

Large-Scale Combat Operations in Key Directions

Over the last 24 hours, approximately 160 combat clashes occurred along the line of contact. The highest enemy activity was observed in the Pokrovsk, Lyman, and Novopavlivka directions. Ukrainian forces inflicted significant losses on the enemy, eliminating nearly 950 occupants, as well as a tank, four armored fighting vehicles, 74 artillery systems and multiple rocket launchers, an air defense system, and 140 operational-tactical drones. Additionally, a cruise missile and 126 units of automotive, special equipment, and fuel tankers were destroyed.

Enemy Attacks and Defense of Ukrainian Positions

“The enemy launched two missile strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas with six missiles and 79 airstrikes, including dropping 146 guided aerial bombs. Furthermore, they conducted 6,157 shellings, of which 118 were from multiple rocket launchers, and engaged 3,910 kamikaze drones for strikes,” the General Staff reported.

In the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, 16 combat clashes occurred, while in the Southern Slobozhansky direction, the aggressor carried out five assaults. The Kupiansk direction faced six attacks, Lyman experienced 22, and Siversk had seven. Four clashes were recorded in the Kramatorsk direction, and seven enemy attacks were noted in the Toretsk area.

The situation remained most tense in the Pokrovsk direction, where Ukrainian defenders repelled 43 assaults by the aggressor in the areas of 13 populated localities. In the Novopavlivka direction, 20 enemy attacks were successfully repelled, and one in the Hulyaipole direction. The Orikhiv direction, supported by enemy aviation, faced three assaults, while in the Dnipro direction, the enemy unsuccessfully attempted to break through the fortifications of Ukrainian defenders six times.

The situation on the front remains tense, but Ukrainian forces are effectively holding back the attacks of Russian occupants in all directions.
