Situation on the Front: Over 150 Clashes and Significant Enemy Losses in One Day

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has released information regarding the combat situation on the front over the past day.

Over 150 Combat Clashes and Occupant Losses

In the past day, Ukrainian defenders faced intense enemy attacks, recording over 150 combat clashes. The most intense fighting took place in the Pokrovsk, Kursk, and Lyman directions. As a result of operational actions by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, nearly 990 Russian soldiers were eliminated, two tanks, one armored fighting vehicle, 17 artillery systems and multiple rocket launchers, 222 operational-tactical level drones, nine cruise missiles, as well as 64 units of automotive, special equipment, and fuel tankers were destroyed.

“The enemy launched one missile and 52 air strikes on the positions of our troops and populated areas, using nine missiles and 79 guided aerial bombs, 1158 kamikaze drone strikes, and carried out 3155 artillery shellings,” the General Staff reported.

Operational Situation by Directions

  • Kharkiv Direction: Ukrainian units repelled three enemy attacks near Vovchansk.
  • Kupiansk Direction: The enemy made five attempts to advance on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
  • Lyman Direction: 15 enemy attacks were recorded near seven populated areas.
  • Seversk Direction: Ukrainian forces stopped two enemy attacks.
  • Kramatorsk Direction: The occupiers attempted to break through the defense three times, but their attempts were unsuccessful.
  • Toretsk Direction: 11 attempts by the enemy to break through the Ukrainian defense were recorded.
  • Pokrovsk Direction: The aggressor carried out 53 assault and offensive actions in the areas of 11 populated areas.
  • Novopavlivsk Direction: Ukrainian defenders stopped 18 enemy attacks.
  • Orikhiv Direction: Three combat clashes occurred.
  • Dniprovsk Direction: Defenders successfully repelled one enemy attack.
  • Kursk Direction: 23 combat clashes were recorded.
  • Huliaipole Direction: The enemy did not conduct offensive actions.

Thus, the Ukrainian forces continue to actively resist the aggression of the Russian Federation, inflicting significant losses on the enemy in most directions, except for Huliaipole, where shelling and attacks were not recorded.
