Situation on the Front: Over 170 Combat Clashes and Significant Enemy Losses in One Day

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports intense combat operations along the main directions of the front

Over the past day, more than 170 combat clashes have been recorded along the line of contact, indicating an extremely tense situation across almost all directions. The fiercest battles took place in the Pokrovsk, Novopavlivka, and Lyman directions.

Enemy Losses and Successes of Ukrainian Forces

Ukrainian defense forces eliminated nearly 820 occupiers in one day, destroyed four tanks, three armored personnel carriers, 33 artillery systems and multiple launch rocket systems, as well as 95 operational-tactical level drones. Additionally, Ukrainian troops neutralized 99 units of automotive and specialized equipment and fuel tankers, complicating the enemy’s logistics.

“The invaders launched 67 air strikes, dropping 128 guided aerial bombs. Furthermore, the Russians deployed 4,807 kamikaze drones and conducted 4,774 shellings of our troops’ positions and populated areas,” the General Staff reported.

Situation on the Combat Directions

In the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, Ukrainian units managed to repel five enemy attacks. In the Southern Slobozhansky direction, the enemy attempted to attack the positions of Ukrainian defenders 12 times. In the Kupiansk direction, there were eight combat clashes, while in the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked 28 times, indicating high activity of the occupying forces.

In the Siversky direction, Ukrainian forces halted five enemy offensive actions. The Kramatorsk direction experienced 13 clashes, and in the Toretsk direction, six enemy attacks were recorded. The situation is particularly tense in the Pokrovsk direction, where Ukrainian troops repelled 43 attempts by the enemy to advance near 15 populated areas.

In the Novopavlivka direction, the occupiers launched 19 attacks, while in the Huliaipole direction, an attack was attempted but proved unsuccessful. In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy attempted to breach the defense twice, and in the Dnipro direction, three unsuccessful attempts to capture Ukrainian positions were recorded.

The current dynamics of combat operations indicate a high intensity of confrontation and significant enemy losses; however, Ukrainian forces continue to hold the defense and inflict substantial losses on the aggressor.
