The operational situation along the contact line remains tense

Over the past day, Ukrainian military forces recorded more than 180 combat engagements with Russian troops. The highest enemy activity was observed in the Pokrovsk, Oleksandrivka, and South Slobozhansk directions. By the end of the day, Ukrainian defenders eliminated approximately 1,070 occupiers, as well as destroyed three tanks, two armored combat vehicles, 43 artillery systems, two air defense systems, 389 operational-tactical drones, and 141 units of enemy automotive equipment.
Massive Enemy Strikes and a Strong Response from the Armed Forces of Ukraine
“The enemy launched one missile strike on the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas with one missile and conducted 101 airstrikes, dropping 225 guided bombs. In addition, they carried out 4,429 shellings, of which 85 were from multiple launch rocket systems, and deployed 5,256 kamikaze drones for strikes,” the General Staff reported.
In the North Slobozhansk and Kursk directions, there were five combat engagements over the day. The enemy also conducted 16 attacks in the South Slobozhansk direction. In the Kupiansk direction, Ukrainian units halted nine assaults by the occupiers.
Current Situation on Various Sections of the Front
In the Lyman direction, the enemy attempted to advance 11 times. In the Sloviansk direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled six attacks by the invaders. The Kramatorsk direction saw two combat engagements.
The enemy conducted 14 attacks in the Kostiantynivka direction. The enemy was most active in the Pokrovsk direction, where Ukrainian defenders stopped 69 assault and offensive actions by the aggressor near 20 populated areas. In the Oleksandrivka direction, defense forces repelled 26 attacks.
In the Orikhiv direction, five enemy offensives were recorded near Stepove, Plavni, and Stepnohirs’k. In the Huliaipole and Dnipro directions, the enemy did not conduct any offensive actions.
