The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported an escalation of hostilities in the eastern part of the country over the past day.

Main Areas of Enemy Activity
According to military sources, over the last day, Ukrainian defenders recorded more than 190 combat encounters. The most intense fighting occurred in the Pokrovsk and Novopavlivka directions, where the enemy attempted to breach the defenses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Ukrainian troops successfully repelled enemy attacks, inflicting significant losses on enemy personnel and equipment.
As a result of fierce battles, the Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated nearly 950 occupiers, destroyed one tank, three armored vehicles, 33 artillery systems and multiple launch rocket systems, one air defense asset, 226 operational-tactical level drones, five cruise missiles, as well as 74 units of automotive, special equipment, and fuel tankers.
“The enemy launched one missile strike and 74 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas, used five missiles, and dropped 148 guided bombs. Additionally, 5,516 kamikaze drones were deployed for strikes, and 4,989 shellings of our troops’ positions and populated areas were carried out, of which 86 were from multiple launch rocket systems,” the General Staff reported.
Operational Situation by Directions
- In the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, 11 combat encounters were recorded.
- Southern Slobozhansky direction: Russian troops stormed the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine five times in the areas of Vovchansk and Stroiivka.
- Kupiansk direction: the enemy launched nine attacks.
- Lyman direction: 14 attempts of enemy advancement were recorded.
- Seversky direction: seven attacks on the positions of the Defense Forces.
- Kramatorsk direction: four combat encounters.
- Toretsk direction: the aggressor launched nine attacks.
- Pokrovsk direction: Ukrainian defenders repelled 64 attacks near 16 populated areas.
- Novopavlivka direction: the Defense Forces repelled 51 assaults in the areas of 17 populated areas.
- Dniprovsk direction: four enemy attacks towards the Antonivskyi Bridge.
- In the Huliaipole and Orikhiv directions, the enemy did not conduct offensive actions.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to monitor the situation and inflict significant losses on the enemy, preventing them from advancing.
