Situation on the Front: Ukrainian Armed Forces Repelled Nearly 160 Attacks, Enemy Halted Offensive in Two Directions

The situation on the front line remains tense – approximately 160 combat engagements occurred between Ukrainian forces and Russian troops over the past day. The most intense fighting was observed in the Pokrovsk, Siversk, and Novopavlivka directions.

Enemy Losses and Successes of the Ukrainian Armed Forces

The Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to inflict significant losses on the occupying units. Over the last day, Ukrainian defenders destroyed nearly 910 Russian soldiers, as well as five tanks, four armored fighting vehicles, 29 artillery systems and multiple launch rocket systems, and one air defense asset. Additionally, 461 operational-tactical drones, five cruise missiles, and 81 units of automotive and special equipment, including fuel tankers, were eliminated.

“The enemy launched three missile strikes and 75 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas, employing 16 missiles and 143 guided bombs. Furthermore, they conducted 4,703 shellings, including 184 from multiple launch rocket systems, and deployed 4,679 kamikaze drones,” the General Staff reported.

Operational Situation in the Combat Directions

  • North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions – Ukrainian forces repelled nine enemy attacks.
  • South-Slobozhansk direction – 14 combat engagements were recorded.
  • Kupiansk direction – five attacks by the occupiers were repelled.
  • Lyman direction – the enemy attempted to advance 17 times.
  • Siversk direction – the aggressor made 12 attempts to attack.
  • Kramatorsk direction – Defense Forces repelled four attacks.
  • Toretsk direction – the occupiers stormed eight times.
  • Pokrovsk direction – Ukrainian defenders halted 43 attacks by the aggressor near 15 populated areas.
  • Novopavlivka direction – Defense Forces repelled 22 assaults by the enemy.
  • Orikhiv direction – the aggressor attempted to break through the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine four times.
  • Huliaipole and Dnipro directions – Russian troops did not conduct offensive operations.

Thus, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to effectively deter the offensive actions of the Russian Federation, inflicting significant losses on the enemy and preventing advancement in key areas of the front.
