The Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen was held for the fifth time in Kyiv — a significant event initiated by First Lady Olena Zelenska. This year, the event was marked not only by the largest number of participants in its history but also by an expanded format: for the first time, the summit lasted two consecutive days.

Focus on Innovations and Educational Technologies

The main theme of this year’s summit was innovations and modern technologies in education. Not only first ladies and gentlemen from various countries were invited, but also education ministers and their deputies, leading teachers, scholars, researchers, and even Nobel Prize laureates.

International Support and Its Significance for Ukraine

The presence of delegations from Austria, Denmark, Estonia, Lithuania, Finland, Serbia, and Germany was particularly significant. The visit of these high-profile guests underscored the importance of the event for the international community and the support Ukraine receives even in difficult times.

“The event was personally supported by the first ladies and gentlemen from Austria, Denmark, Estonia, Lithuania, Finland, Serbia, and Germany. We are grateful for this visit and all the support. For Ukraine, this summit is proof that even in wartime, we remain part of the global dialogue, seeking answers to challenges together. And that is important,” wrote Volodymyr Zelensky.

The Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen gains increasing significance each year, fostering the exchange of experiences and the formation of international dialogue in the fields of education and humanitarian initiatives.
